Fragmentation and friction

Currently, as crypto investors, the tools we have at hand are archaic at best. Most investors have little to no access to meaningful insights, relying on home-built spreadsheets and a huge amount of manual labor. The tasks they perform are largely trivial data entry and simple analysis like P&L. In most cases, even basic functionalities such as current profit minus investment, taxes, gas fees, and possible slippage are out of reach. Don't even think about trending models or visualizing historic entry and exit points. In short, there isn't much to help investors make decisions.

In some cases, these tools exist but are almost always limited to a subset of blockchains, inevitably creating gaps in your portfolio. Armor wants to change this, not by building purpose-built tools, but by teaching an AI-powered assistant to use the data and have a discussion with you about your options and potential investment strategies. Armor will not trade for you or identify the next 100x meme coin, but it will provide you with a vastly broadened set of data to access, understand, and use to make informed decisions.

Actionable insight

Users need information at the right time and in the right place. You can subscribe to an insights provider, but staring at graphics 24/7 is not practical for most people. With Armor, you can ask questions about the market or a specific project. You can instruct Armor to pay closer attention to an area of interest or to hunt for new opportunities. You can do this from a single, simple interface using text chat or voice, making the whole process fast and efficient. Once you have made a decision on an investment or existing position, Armor will act as your broker and help you execute complex trades, such as DCA at specific intervals or with specific criteria like:

“DCA $400 in USDC or USDT into SOL daily, at midnight CET only of the SOL does not increase by more that 5%. If SOL goes down by more 15% double the DCA amount”

With this dialog based UI a user can build much more sophisticated trades in a way that is logical to a normal person.

Remove the emotion

We wanted to build a wallet that helps users separate the emotion from making the right investment decisions. We understand that when you are up 30x, it can be a very emotional experience—we all like to win. With Armor, you can get a second opinion that will—hopefully—take the emotion out of the decision and provide you with more balanced recommendations. Armor learns from your trading behaviors, both wins and losses, especially the losses. It will adjust its recommendations to better match your risk appetite, and you can ask it to provide different perspectives, such as:

“If you were very risk averse, what trade would you make right now?”

In general Armor is the wallet we have all wanted for a very long time. The recent progress and consumerization of AI now has matured enough to make this a reality.
